Our story

A Family Florist,
Grown One Garden At A Time

Visithuru Flora started as a single stall of home grown blooms. Today we work with a handful of small growers around the hill country, buying only what is in season and arranging it the same day.

  • Seasonal stems sourced direct from local growers.
  • Every order wrapped by hand, never assembly line.
  • Our own riders, so your flowers are not passed around.

Fantastic personalized service provided by Visithuru Flora. I am in Perth, Australia and it was my sister's wedding in Colombo and I couldn't attend it due to COVID restrictions here in Australia. Therefore I wanted to send my sister a bouquet of flowers with a note wishing her for her big day to the hotel just before the function and this needed to be done within 3-4 hours. Due to short notice most flower shops I called in Sri Lanka and even online retailers like wishque & Kapruka refused to accept my request/order. (Shirohana told me they had no flowers left for the day in any of their outlets to be sent out - this was around 12pm SL time!! unbelievable being a top flower retailer in Sri Lanka!!) I was so disappointed, then online I came across Visithuru Flora. I called and they were very happy to accept my order and provided a fantastic personalized service. Provided me with photos of sample bouquets via whatsapp and captured my requirement exactly as I wanted and they were willing and flexible to provide me with their bank details so I can make the payment via an online bank transfer. They even sent me photos of the flower bouquet, with my message before dispatching it, to confirm the job is done.

I am very impressed as to how personalized and versatile Visithuru flora is in doing business. That is the type of excellent customer service and business ethics we love to see from our small businesses back home in Sri Lanka. Keep up the good work Visithuru Flora and I will keep ordering flowers from you as I'd rather support a small business like you flourish than the big chains who really do not accommodate their customers requests specially at an important occasion on short notice.

Wedding bouquet, sent from Perth

Got my first ever flower bouquet from here and I was really satisfied. I needed a bouquet for my best friend's graduation ceremony. The staff was pleasant and helpful, very patience with me because I changed my mind from an already made bouquet to a Lily bouquet. The bouquet turned out gorgeous, it was so much alike what I had in my mind 🎀. My friend also loved it and she carried it with her whole day 🥺 Excellent work! ❤️‍🔥

What I loved most was being able to customize the flowers and wrapping exactly how I wanted. The quality, presentation, and attention to detail were just perfect. Truly impressed and highly recommend for anyone looking for a gorgeous customized bouquet.

This place is definitely doing their business professionally and meeting the customer expectations beyond the level. I ordered a bunch of flowers from this place and got it delivered to Athurugiriya recently and they really did work on it amazingly without having to go behind it and explain multiple times. Maneesha who took my order was extremely polite and served me with a superb customer friendly attitude. The flowers I ordered looked so fresh and the recipient was very happy with the order. Thank you so much. Keep up the great service. Cheers!

Delivery to Athurugiriya

We got 03 bouquets made on our way to our sister's grad and they did an amazing job even without prior notice. We wanted a messy style arrangement with a specific wrapping and after showing them our inspirations, they delivered exactly what we asked for. The number of flowers was definitely worth the price. I highly recommend this flower shop! 🌼✨
